What is Ceramic Coating?

A Ceramic Coating (such as C.Quartz U.K. 3.0/Gtechniq) is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle’s factory paint, creating a layer of protection.

A Ceramic Coating provides a more comprehensive defense for paint versus wax. A Ceramic Coating creates a permanent or semi-permanent bond with a vehicle’s paint, meaning that it does not wash away or break down and does not require repeated application every few months.

Importance of Clay Bar Process

A traditional wash process does a good job of removing dirt and grime from the exterior of a vehicle. But, it doesn't remove all of the contaminates that is embedded into the paint. When this happens, we use a tool like a clay bar. This tool safely pull and lifts these contaminates off the paint. The clay bar process is a crucial step in doing a thorough job of washing a vehicle.
